# Verify Your WhatsApp Business Display Name

Your **WhatsApp Business Display Name** is the name customers see when they chat with your business or view your WhatsApp profile.

When you **add a new phone number** to your WhatsApp Business Account in your **Meta Business Portfolio**, you’ll need to assign a **Display Name** to it.\
This name helps customers easily recognize your business and maintain trust while interacting with you on WhatsApp.

If you’re using the **3Sigma WhatsApp Business API**, setting an approved display name ensures your messages appear professional and fully compliant with WhatsApp’s business policies.

#### 🏷️ What Is a Display Name?

Your display name should clearly represent your business — it must be related to your company, brand, or service.

### ⚙️ How to Edit or Verify Your Display Name

1. Open [WhatsApp Manager](https://business.facebook.com/latest/whatsapp_manager/overview)
2. Click **Phone Numbers** in the left sidebar
3. Select your **WhatsApp number**
4. Go to **Profile → Edit Display Name**
5. Enter your **registered business name exactly as on your website or documents**
6. Save your changes and wait for review
