Bulk import leads(CSV)
Importing leads in bulk is straightforward using our CSV feature. Follow these steps for a smooth import process:
Simple 4-Step Import Process:
π₯ Download Template: Start by downloading our CSV template from the system. This ensures your data is organized correctly and meets our format requirements.
π Fill in the Template: Enter your lead information into the template. The mandatory fields are Name and Phone.
π οΈ Map Your Columns: During the upload process, match your CSV columns to the lead fields in the system.
Example: If your CSV has a column named βMobile Number,β map it to the βPhoneβ field in the system.
π€ Upload and Wait: Upload the mapped file and let the system handle the rest. The processing occurs in the background, and you'll receive a summary notification once the upload is complete.
Data and Formatting Guidelines:
Phone Number:
Must be formatted correctly. For Indian numbers:
Include the country code (+91) without any spaces or special characters (e.g., +919876543210).
Alternatively, use the 10-digit format without the leading zero (e.g., 9876543210).
Avoid spaces, parentheses, or dashes.
The column for phone numbers should be formatted as 'Number' in Excel to avoid any issues during the upload process.
Name:
This is a required field and can include both first and last names.
Email:
Optional. Ensure it follows a proper email format (e.g., name@example.com).
Number Format Fields:
For any fields involving numbers like "Amount" or "Zip Code," ensure these are also formatted as 'Number' in Excel.
Important: If your lead duplication settings are disabled, the system will automatically prevent any duplicate leads from being added.
By adhering to these steps and guidelines, you can avoid common issues and ensure that your leads are imported correctly every time.
Special Fields Guidelines

Use: Assigns the lead to a specific team member.
Formatting: Use "Assign To" as the column name exactly as it is.

Important: The number must belong to an existing user in 3Sigma CRM.
πΉ Status:
Use: Defines the current stage of the lead (e.g., "New," "In Progress," "Closed").
Formatting: The status must match the predefined statuses in 3Sigma CRM.
Important: If no value is provided, the system will default to your CRMβs default status.
πΉ Label:
Use: Categorizes leads for easy filtering and management.
Formatting: Labels must exactly match existing labels in 3Sigma CRM, including spelling and case.
Important: If a label does not exist, it will not be assigned.
πΉ Source:

Important: If the source is missing, you must create it first via Leads > + Button > Lead Form > Add New Lead Source before importing.
